I don't mind it personally. it gives a place for it and I kinda enjoy responding to a few questions here and there.

/g/ is not a tech discussion board, it's a mixed bag of consumer review (shopping general), why video card should I buy threads, bunch of phoneposters, a few microsoft (mostly), nvidia (almost as much as ms), amd and intel shills, and smartphone shills.

It's also known as /v/'s tech support/buyers' discussion forum.
