I am using my Lenovo as main machine and I have it hooked to a second monitor, along with 2.1 Speakers, keyboard and mouse. It is comfy but at the same time I have a fuckload of cables around the desk, and I want to remove clutter somehow.

I saw pic related while browsing some retailer and got me thinking if there are any cheap or recommended alternatives to this USB dock. I just want my desk to look tidy and nice without all the damn cables.

This will never work over only USB 2 or 3, bandwidth is too low to support 2 screens and then some. With USB 3.1G2 it might become viable again. USB C thunderbolt 3 docks might work out.
