holy shit codecademy is really nice
i was a NEET for 3 years then passed a 40 hour programming course on code academy.
Now I've been a NEET for 5 years.
Code Academy worked for me!!
I was skeptical about this thing until I tried. I did their Python course.
Now, 1 year later I can proudly say that I can follow instructions.
Does it actually work?

It's shit
the only way you could get a job by simply doing codecademy is if youre a feminist, trans, or muslim.
google or facebook would hire you immediately to satisfy their diversity and gender/race politics agenda.

Not really, you'll learn the basic syntax of each language but surprise surprise that is not enough to truly learn any language. If you actually go out on your way trying to making your own projects and filling the gaps as you go it could work. I personally find that a decent book will give you much more of a head start though.

Do you have to pay for the program? I would try that out and maybe read a few programming books.

so I can identify as a transsexual feminist and I'll instantly get a job at Silicon Valley?

Yeah. But you're going to have to sell it.
Good luck, anon!

yes
get a macbook pro, put stickers on it, get big thick black framed glasses, shave half your head, color your hair, and when anyone refers to you as a "he", post a hate filled tweet about it so everyone can see
don't forget to wear your hijab when you go in for the interview, and show them pictures of the Women's March you went to

If I tell employers I'm a Muslim will it be easier for me to get a job?

last year it would

you will definitely make it harder for them to reject you if you put on the traditional attire
