I've exhausted everything short of opening up my laptop at this point, and I know you aren't tech support, but I thought I'd ask you before I break something. I've forgotten my BIOS password for my shitty school/work gateway laptop, and none of the tools I've used so far are working. There's no hash code after 3 failed attempts regardless of what I press, the cmospwd tool won't run (pic related) because ioperm only works on 32-bit systems, and CMOS de-animator had no effect. The others I've found require being burned on a flash drive or disk, and I don't have any on me, nor do I even have a screwdriver to try and get at the CMOS battery itself (and that might not even work). Any ideas, kind anons?

You fucking donut, this is the first thing you should've done rather than tooling around trying to break the BIOS.
Go and pop that sucker out then drain every drop of power out of the laptop, desktops sometimes have a reset jumper but you likely don't have that luxury.

Get 1337 and haxx the BIOS otherwise ur SOL
Remove the CMOS battery inside the laptop for 5 minutes and put it in again
Donut no more. This should work, right?

Good! Now take out the main laptop battery, disconnect it form the mains if its plugged in, then hold the power button for a minute or two.
