whats the cheapest way to get surround sound music? im not an audiophile and i dont particularly care for quality, i just want soft piano throughout my home office 24/7.
i was thinking of getting a couple of airplay speakers and streaming music from my ipad as a control centre, but the cheapest airplay speaker is about $50 and ill be forking out a few hundred if i want music from every corner. im rather financially tight.
are there any other alternatives?

Bumping for interest.
I've listened less and less to music, which makes me sad. Always wanted a solution something like this.
surely there must be more people who have a similar need? is there really no way for this except with airplay? do i really need to spend a couple hundred dollars just to hook up music in three different corners of my room?

>three speakers
What's stopping you from buying three garbage passive speakers from craigslist or the thrift store and hooking them up in series or whatever

... maybe just buy someone's old crappy surround sound set from craigslist.
They're $50 to $200 usually.

You can't. Unless your source has multiple speaker streams.
Most audio is going to be stereo only though. The surrounds would just be making filler noise.
