Works ok.

Had to take it apart because there was no music reaching my left ear. Turns out the potentiometer which controls the volume is bent, so bent it until audio came to my left ear.

Microphone is average. Using my computers built in realtek noise cancelling feature gives a clear audio output.

There is a noticeable drop in volume using this cable vs a plain cable (I bypassed the potentiometer when I took it apart), but no significant drop in audio quality.

Shipping was quite fast, I ordered this on 15th of Jan and it arrived today 24th of Jan.

The Orange Pi Zero just got a NAS extension board.

Description is sparse, but it seems to add 2x USB, SATA, 3.5mm audio and for some reason an M.2 slot. Yet only costs $7

It also has a power input, but I assume this is optional and not required, instead it's probably used to add additional power to the USB ports.
USB will probably work without extra power, but won't handle heavy stuff like external HDDs.

Back in the days OPi was superior because it had DC-IN, this means you can actually power USB devices. RPi would die if you plugged one in (like panic and then undervolt the board!) this was quite bad. Also they had all the bandwidth (per schematics) routed onto 1x USB 2.0! Not only that, but the Broadcom CPU they always use (the creators being well-known with that ofc...) is defeated easily by how they are based on tablet SoC design because of bandwidth reasons and that. However, they have their video support which makes it plausible. If you want one cheap device for other purposes like me, at least back when the RPi 3 didn't exist, this was the ultimate chink choice. The meme about overheating is false, this shit still runs 100% without overheating and no cooling (I live in a cold country though) because these cracy chinks OC'd the OS builds. Never download chink, go download at like armbian.
