it's not that simple. You must:
-take a specific distro and a specific CPU architecture
-modify the core libraries to conform to the SUS specification
-pay some big $$$ to The Open Group and submit your (heavily modified) distro for compliance testing.
-if it passes all the tests you will be able to claim your distro is an UNIX system
-repeat for each cpu architecture if necessary
Because it's expensive and at the same time quite worthless.
It means nothing, it's a "good boy" sticker and nothing else.
