It works nicely with any old pair of headphones and does not compress unless the source does. Long battery life too. I like to use mine overnight while sleeping and it's still working in the morning.

Aptx sounds good enough imo. The byron BT are $100. Cheap and sound alright if you don't mind them being on the warmer side. Last 7-8 hrs.

I got these for $90, they sound kind of meh but the battery is good. And the fit is awesome.

The Skullcandy Smokin Buds 2 Wireless are pretty good. They last for a really long time before dying. The only problem is that they tend to really exaggerate the hell out of the bass in everything.
