I just wrote this API that can:
- Convert non-searchable PDFs to searchable ones
- Generate thumbnails for PDFs
- Perform OCR text recognition
- Some other shit
Is this the kinda thing people want or nah?

Hello Mr Butcher

Make it AGPL, then say you'll dual license if a company contacts you because they want your shit.
Then you'll know if people want it enough for it to be worth money.

As a student with non digitised resources I would want this. That way I could scan my 600 page readings book and ocr it.

I'm a printer expert, working in global markets. There is a huge push for digitisation technology but not much conviction in the area. If you could make an initial deal with canon or Roland or something within their multi-function printer range, you'll make quite a lot of $$
This is coming from an industry expert BTW
