Why are things not consistent in Linux.
Why are programs not installed in one directory where you can easily find them ( something like Program files on windows)?
Instead you get cluster fuck of /etc, /opt , /usr , ~/.something , ~/.local, etc.
Also what a hell is with /usr/share and /usr/local/share also the /etc
When you install somehting, it doesnt even ask you where do you want to install it and terminal doesnt even output where it is installed. What the fuck is with this?
Lets talk about real problems in linux and not fucking GUI/DEs.

how is that a problem?which <program name here>
whatever you're looking for is installed there
depending on which package manager you use there might even be an option to choose install locations. read your manpages and find out OP
