Regardless of the volume, my PC speakers are always producing static.
Been hearing it for so long, that now I'm full autistic and I'm hearing it everywhere I go, even in my sleep.
What can I do to reduce it, and how do I know if it's my motherboard or my speakers that are at fault?
Thanks.

Buy an external DAC.
The HiFiMeDIY USB DAC is pretty good.

get a USB sound card for $2. it's impossible to fix that shit... I know from personal experience. I tried updating bios, drivers etc... static was always there.

yeah, that's actually excellent.
you will never be free of onboard sounds shitty fucking noise floor
buy a real DAC with its own power supply because usb powered ones tend to have ground loop issues. i made this mistake and had to spend like 40 bucks more for an usb isolator to get rid of it.
