am i a bad programmer if i prefer working with at least one person on something
bouncing ideas off someone else is helpful
What the fuck is this and how is it better than any of the other hipster office structure
I'm betting my left testicle, right buttchick and cock that the idea came up by retards that thought are programmers but were brainwashed way too much by a management course about bullshit economics that ruined the economy in 2008-2010.

I don't work but I did a few programming assignments at uni in a pair programming fashion (the other dude was comparably skilled as me) and it was quite nice. We worked through skype via screen sharing though.
Generally I prefer to work in solitude though. Can't have any distractions when I'm thinking hard.

I find running something through another person helps me out when I'm stuck. Nice to have a fresh set of eyes
Working with small team there's only 3 of us and basically everybody is doing their own thing but we still constantly talk and ask questions from each others. Not exactly pair programming but not lonely or too much responsibility for every thing you do when you ask if everybody agrees or if they have better idea on how to implement some thing.
ITT: Noone has heard of eXtreme Programming.

My company pairs in that people tend to work in couplets where each can support the other and bounce ideas off the other.
I don't know if that was intended or if it's a natural occurrence.

That's not pair programming. Pair programming is literally using the same computer.

i've done that too, it also gets shit done
We do it at school. It's not so bad if you're working with someone competent.

Ain't that the truth
