Anyway I sorta like LGs. They're pretty cheap but they've got a nice UI. Honestly haven't used any recent sonys or Samsungs but I have a 2 year old Vizio that has a god awful UI

I remember checking out the Samsung PNF8500 (last high-end plasma ever made) when it was dirt cheap right before they stopped selling them. The flickering was nauseating at times.
