i.e. Revenue.
An example would be the difference between the Alphabet company, and Google.
Alphabet sells no products and makes $0 brand revenue. Google makes $68.5 B in brand revenue, but that would not include their other projects like the driverless car, and the home security/IoT services under alphabet. Nor that strange 'eternal life' company thats under Alphabet too.
