Well first off I'm in a similar system of circumstances and it took a bit of testing before I got to figure out my best work flow for getting packages reliably.

1)How third world are we talking here- if I shipped straight to my post office it takes between one month to 5 months or never (lost a redmi note 3 this way got a refund though)

2) does your shit hole country have a courier service that gives you a us address to post too, if so use it, sure it cost a little more but trust me it's more reliable in shipping, time and possibly taxes depending on the company. (this may not be cost effective for cheap small items it's really how badly you need/want it)

3)when buying, look up seller reviews and rating, (personally I've been screwed by gearbest won't buy big items from their)

4)you do get items it all depends on patience and proper process, I'm typing on my redmi note 3 global, have a nice chink mouse, getting a meme keyboard soon and other little things, it really does work if done right.

Jinhao and Hero are both pretty good in my experience. The Jinhao 599 is good as a basic pen and can be easily found, and the 126 is a good "fancier " option, although I can't find the seller that I bought it from for $2, and the other sellers sell it for $7. As for Hero. I only have experience with the 721, which is pretty similar to the Jinhao 126, but writes a bit better IMO, and is found for around $2.

Need something with good battery that will last through a day of fairly heavy use.

I own a Q5, and a T6, Q5 slider/zoom broke after a summer of heavy usage, it got loose. And I broke the switch on my T6 by trying to take it apart. I smashed it with screwdriver trying something stupid. Dunno anymore, it was not the switch quality's fault though.

I got the T6 for free from my uncle who bought 30 and sold them for 15€ each about 3 years ago.

T6 is nice, buttons aren't that bad, Q5 is nice, same buttons, smaller formfactor but worse slider if you ask me.

The buttons aren't the worst thing about these flashlights. They have nice toggle swiches under the rubber dome. Pic related.

Redmi Pro is better than all of them but the phone itself won't have any ROM support because mediatek never releases sources, so as long as you're fine with MIUI it's okay, there are still debloated variants of the stock ROM but it won't get things like LineageOS/CM.
