Safari and opera. If I'm going to be spied on anyways I would rather use opera as it is an amazing browser and very powerful and Safari is great at getting to the point and battery life not to mention it's read later mode

Anyway you can update it whenever you want, it's not like the changes are that big day-to-day and even if you only update it once a month it'll still be way ahead of release version. If I'm not mistaken they increase the version number once every 6 weeks meaning release is 18 weeks behind nightly.

it's gotten better recently from what i can tell. you still get the annoying green upgrade button on the hamburger menu when it wants to upgrade though. also recently after an upgrade it wants to start in safe mode.
