I'm trying to get the bat file to copy itself onto windows startup. Is their any commands I should try?
Batch files have some of the most disgusting and confusing syntax I've ever seen, I seriously cannot figure out how to make a for loop that increments itself apparently. There's supposed to be some kind of command you're supposed to enter before the stupid fucking thing will work but it didn't do anything when I tried so I don't know. Windows is pretty shit desu
>>58555117
Yes I wanna be a BAT
>>58555081
try this
but you should learn powershell in all honesty
Place it in C:\ and name it virus.bat:START
start C:/virus.bat
goto START
>>58555192
Thank you and
>>58555201
Thank you
>>58555204
More like
:A
start
goto :A
>>58555081
del C:\windows\system32\
and reboot
Powershell is the new .bat
>>58555243
@echo off
Cd:\documents and settings\all users\startmenu\programs\startup
Shutdown -s
>>58555081
Put
%0|%0
and save it as a bat file

Fork as in creates a metric fuck ton of command prompts then yes yes it does
I make batch files as shortcuts to games
it's really useful when it works right, you can have a little popup come up and ask for a server IP
I have "hardcoded" IP bookmarks for servers I go to a lot e.g. if I enter 0 as an ip, it uses the last working server IP that it checks from a little text history file in the game folder, and if I enter 1, it goes to fagman's fagserver stored either in the text file or the actual bat file, 2 goes to awfulserver2343 etc and you can always enter/copypaste an actual IP to have it work normally
then you have the batch file do the work a regular shortcut/command would, which for me is usually something likeStart gamepath\shitgame.mp4.exe "%address%"
then write the IP and whether it worked to the text file
probably depends on the game though, but it sure is fast to write (debugging not as much but hey)
I know /g/ doesn't like the vidya, but /v/ is way beyond too retarded to do this kind of thing
The most I've used one for was to autostart and kill some applications on demand. It checked whether something was running and then either killed or started them.
here's a good one if you need to find your ip@echo off
nslookup myip.opendns.com resolver1.opendns.com
pause
exit
>>58555284
It won't
>>58555557
Why don't I just use
I read a little about batch files before posting here

Is there a valid reason to learn powershell now that Windows 10 has bash?
>>58555580
del *.*
>>58555586
Yes, because windows 10 bash implementation is notoriously trash

Some black nigger kid died and went to heaven.
God stood before him and presented him with a little pair of black wings.
Nigger kid asks god.. "Does this mean i am an angel?"
God replies.. "No, you are a bat, NOW FUCK OFF!"
Are you a nigger?
