looking for a budget dual band router for under $60 is the tp link ac1200 any good?
need something that'll be good enough for about 8 devices connected to them mostly for Netflix and YouTube and it'll be in a small apt.
any other routers I should look into or this okay?
That pic is retarded. You can't overclock those chips that much, voltage breakdown will become a bigger problem first.

TP Link is an excellent brand, but realistically a good router starts at like $130+

eh just need a decent one, it'll be used in a 2bd 2 bath apt. the speeds are only 100 down and 6 up.
I'm a poor fag atm so I can't spend more than that atm.

Do you care for signal strength?

i have an ac1200. It's quite good for 60 bucks
I'd rather build my own router to be quite frankly honest.
I have a tplink Archer c7, while it's a higher end model it performs flawlessly on both bands.
Only issue I had was some sort of memory leak relating to USB storage which forced you to reboot the router every few days otherwise storage wouldn't work. Tplink never fixed this in the firmware ever so the USB file server is useless.

check around at Target/Wal;mart etc...they sometimes have Onhub's on clearance for less than $100. They are ballin routers for that price
