I'd rather build my own router to be quite frankly honest.

I have a tplink Archer c7, while it's a higher end model it performs flawlessly on both bands.

Only issue I had was some sort of memory leak relating to USB storage which forced you to reboot the router every few days otherwise storage wouldn't work. Tplink never fixed this in the firmware ever so the USB file server is useless.

check around at Target/Wal;mart etc...they sometimes have Onhub's on clearance for less than $100. They are ballin routers for that price
