never kept the cards or boxes really. can't even remember the full list of cards I've had. something like
mx440 > 6600GT (melted) > 6800GS (melted) > 9800GT > GTX760 (first one melted in warranty kek) > GTX970
yes i've always ended up with nvidia cards. not a fanboy though. just always worked out that way. maybe i'll go AMD next time.
before the mx440 it was "the family PC" which had a 1MB cirrus logic chip circa 1996. think the second family PC had some ATI rage fury 32mb thing in it. was glorious regardless.

why would you get the most expensive 470, the 4gb 480 costs like 10 extra bucks
>>58508935
give me your feet folder, i know you're posting in every single thread doing this.
>>58508999
how did all of those cards melt? do you live on the fucking sun my man
Wow OP you sound pretty dumb.
Don't worry though, we're all pretty dumb. Myself included.
Bought an XFX dual dissipation 7870 ghz back in the winter of 2012 for my first build.
Later on I bought an HIS 270x because I fell for the crossfire meme. Both great cards the still work and perform surprisingly well, but crossfire was terrible.
Now I have a Sapphire fury nitro I bought for $260 last November because I was so tempted to get an rx 480/ gtx 1060 and they were only ~$20 cheaper at the time. It's a big upgrade and runs silently but it has some obvious drawbacks.
Now awaiting zen and vega for a fresh build. I may not go with either but it'll be nice to see how both affect the market.

Ati rage is a great deal better than what most family PC's typically had/have(relatively speaking).
My first experience with a "high end" PC was one my brother had built at the turn of the XP days. It had an athlon XP single core and i think some midrange GeForce 3 or 4 series. I didn't use it until some 3+ years after it was built, but it was the first PC I could play real games on.
