Neat. Brings back some memories. As long as the HDD inside is in decent condition, you have a cable, and you have access to Windows in some way (no, the Zune software won't run through Wine) you can just use it as a movie (albeit shit resolution) or just straight up MP3 player. Had one like you poasted for 3 years, eventually swapped to a Zune HD 32gb.

tl;dr just use it for it's intended purpose. Just make sure you have access to Windows to do it.
