I don't really have an opinion but my Chinkpad T420 was cheap (hell, I even overpaid for it and it was cheap) and I get better battery life, features, and specs than I did for a new Asus.

I'm also a fan of the brick ass design of old Thinkpads. The keyboard is nice too. I don't really care what others use though. Docking stations are cool too.

Why are you a fucking normie? Not only are they cheap, but recycling old parts helps the environment. You may laugh at this, but it won't be so funny when you start living like a Pajeet because Indians have no concept of waste management or public sanitation. Buy a used device, replace any external parts that show significant wear, and spend your saved money on stuff that matters.
