That's not true at all. In high school I was good at CS and went on to do that at University but it wasn't until I had done a few years programing profesionaly I discovered how unsatisfying it was and ment back to university to study my true vocation engineering, where I got a first and then a Masters and have done that ever since. It's never too late to discover your tallent.
