Google never advertised Fuschia as anything substantial that we'd be seeing in the next few years. News outlets just found the repo and started speculating about it for dem clicks. Like many projects at a company as large as Google it's possible that nothing comes of it, which is fine because it was never advertised as anything other than a research project.
Did anybody look at the code to see what it actually does? I've tried compiling it myself but was getting errors when I ran it in qemu.
