Forever.
>>
Probably another 4 or 5 years.
>>
What do you want? Something complex, 3D, and abstract?

Has there ever been a precedent where trends go from minimalism to complexity?
>>
i hope they last forever

Yes, terminals to personal desktops led to the rise of GUIs. GUIs by their very nature are more visually complex than TUIs. Then we got 2D acceleration, and animation, and gradients *everywhere.* I think we're moving back towards minimalism because there hasn't been any significant enough advancements in processing power to drive a more complex GUI.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
