Does anyone still make good 17 inch laptops ?
I have a 17" late 2011 macbook pro that's lasted me pretty well but at some point in the future im gonna want to upgrade and as far as I can tell only the P70 thinkpad's are worth it.
Any anons know of any good ones ?

Sell your Macbook for $800-$1000. There aren't any decent 17" laptops left, but a Retina Macbook will allow you to use 1920x1200.

they're way to heavy. just get a desktop or an external screen if you need >15" screens. 17" laptops are literally pointless.
