Whenever I play audio or video in chrome, I get artifacts and sound glitches. Pic related. The sound glitches sound like quick robot orgasms. But they're inconsistent, I either get visual artifacts, or robot orgasms, rarely both.
Firefox is fine but I use Steams in game browser to listen to music while I'm playing games so yeah.

Something about Chrome forcibly using VP9 (I might be wrong on what it's called exactly) even though it doesn't have hardware acceleration yet.

Still artifacting even after disabling Hardware acceleration

ENABLE hardware acceleration, then do this
>use an addon called H64ify. Google fags push VP9 if they can detect chrome. VP9 is yet to have true hardware assisted accelration.
then report back if the issue persists

I think it stopped the video artifacts. Minimized the robot orgasms but they're still there.
Install chrome canary to see if it's a general problem in chrome
ffmpeg documentation states 2 pass encoding can improve quality of webms, especially regarding artifacts in static backgrounds.
