Anon,
two years ago i was a fucking web pleb and wrote everything in javascript. I wanted to grow! Get bigger and better! I learned clojure. But i didn like the jvm. So i switched to go and wrote some nice stuff. But go is lazy and allows you all this funky shit which will break in the end. So i want to switch to rust. But god damnit. Everything is so complex in this language. Everything looks somehow ugly. And even a simple web parsing witch different crates feels like so much work. Is it really worth it?
Sucks to be retarded.
Based off your spelling and grammar, I can tell you don't try hard enough. Syntax matters.

I agree that it's really ugly. It really shouldn't have taken syntax ideas from C++.
It also has some complicated things to deal with, such as the ownership/lifetime system.
I think it's a neat language with some neat ideas though.

>Is it really worth it?
No, learn Common Lisp instead.
Learn Go, it's designed for for Java(Script) pajeets.

>Is it really worth it?
No, it's a system programming language, not for web dev.

Personally, I prefer COBOL, nothin personal, kid.

This. Go is retard-proof.

>go is lazy
What ? Haskell is lazy, not Go.

i am not focused on web dev. Just want to get better in programming. So i am on the hunt for a language which will teach me the good and safe way of doing so.
Not interested in punching stuff together. I can already do that in javascript or golang. I want to learn to be a better programmer. Hence why i learned clojure. Everybody told me Lisp is a nice way to get a different look at things. But then i wanted something with type-safety or compiled bin-files.

Rust isn't complicated. Afaik, the only "special" features are the borrow checker and memory safety. The borrow checker is relatively simple. The module system is a pain in the ass. I like C++ more desu.

Learning new langs won't necessarily a better programmer. Tackling new problems will.
