I used to have a phone with power and volume buttons on the back, with the power sandwitched between the volume buttons.
Absolute worst experience with a phone I've ever had. You constantly turn the screen off when you want to change the volume, and you constantly change the volume when you want to toggle the screen.

Based LG G2. Loved the back buttons.

Those buttons are useless anyway, only time they're used is to access alternate boot options like getting into recovery mode.

On my LG© Stylo® 2, I just tripple tapped the screen to unlock and lock, and use the slider to change volume.

Tapping to unlock is better than buttons to unlock desu.
