why are you continuing to support a dying market?

>reports wallmart
people build their own computers or buy of the internet or buy second hand or all sorts. These stats are poorly developed.
>>58446514
maybe if they didn't fucking overprice their craptops and shittowers
>>58446564
Maybe if they actually had well-put-together machines with decent parts
Maybe if Best Buy didn't only put HP towers in their stores
Maybe if in the year two thousand seventeen anno Domini there wasn't such a high level of ease of access and installation and a wealth of information available driving these inferior builds out of the market
>>58446668
Maybe if w10 wasn't such a giant piece of shit that's confusing to everyone who just got used to 8
Maybe if Best Scam didn't actively fuck over people with useless insurance bullshit that everyone knows not to get
Sorry, I hate smartphones and tablets. Spank my ass and cum inside, Daddy.

not really dying, just not really upgrading either.
thing is, on windows so long as you have a dual core, you are covered for everything but gaming and workstation needs, and that means ANY dual core cpu.
on laptops, once you have a dual core i5 or i7, form pretty much any generation you are also good to go for non gaming and non workstation needs.
a good number of people are served by tablets, or phones, this will stabilize at some point, but the prebuild from walmart market is likely dead and never coming back.

Man. So this.
Until there is a better solution, this is where I am going to stay. My PC rips apart every other platform I have seen in gaming and over all ease of access for finding / viewing media on the internet.

I fall into this category. Using a 1st gen watercooled i7 @ 4.0ghz. Only upgraded the graphics and SSD. Still runs quick enough for me. Though, will probably be updating to a newer / smaller pc soon-ish.. Maybe.. lol

>implying anyone here buys pre-built shit

Let's not forget the common consumer already has a satisfactory desktop for their needs as well.
Naturally sales slowed down.
>>58446514
Dying market? So what? Doesn't make a difference.
>>58446514
This is kinda bullshit.
Normies, grrlz & tech illiterates get their kicks from dumbphones.
Bussines people buy 300-500$ laptops.
Expirienced gaymans has no other need but to buy new gpu every 3-5 yearz.
But ,there is one thing i realised in last couple of months.
I sold my PC and only IT(!?) thing i have is 2 smartphones & 1 tablet(i needed an break), anyway, i realised that NOTHING will ever replace good old desktop PC(eventualy laptop).
>(Dumb but correct analogy coming thru)Android and ios are like child plastic guns, they look like real thing, they feel like real thang, they may even scare someone, but they are not nor will ever be real thing and if you really need to do some serious business youll buy windblows or linux(yes,i know android is based on linux)capeable machine with mouse &keyboard.

Capitalism doesn't fair so well without its planned obsolecense keeping all the cattle goyim buying shit all day.

>supporting markets
>>58446514
I buy my computers because I want it, not to support an industry.
