There are very few well-made Chinese mechanical watches. The only Chinese company that manufactures decent (but not anywhere near Swiss quality) movements is Seagull, and even they just make clones of Swiss movements whose patents expired.

If you want a nice watch, don't buy it from China.

If you want a decent watch, you can spend $50-300 on a Seiko 5 (Japan made), a Hamilton field watch (Swiss-ish made), or any of the numerous brands that use Sea-Gull movements (Chinese made). Of those options, the Hamilton is the best, followed by the Seiko, followed by the Sea-Gulls.

If you want a $20 quartz, just get a Timex Weekender/Easy Reader.

I watched a video of that watch and noticed a few things: 13-17s loss per day, which is absolutely unacceptable, and that the tourbillon is fake. They just exposed the balance wheel to the face of the watch and called it a tourbillon.

On top of that, it's just plain ugly. Too much going on on the face.

Going to do a comparison for sound quality and my opinion on value.

Already liking the looks of the Remax more though since it matches the white/gold on my phone, but if you're interested in earphones at these price points then maybe aesthetics isn't something you should be concerned about.

Conclusion?

The Eiaosi X6 offers roughly 75% the sound quality of the Remax 610D for roughly 35% the cost. It's definitely the better value option.

That being said. The Remax feels to have better build quality too. And at that price it's not expensive at all. If you want good budget earphones, I'd say go for the Remax. The only advantage the Eiaosi X6 offers is that it still sounds pretty good at a much lower price point, so it's better to bulk buy or if you just want the cheapest option that doesn't sound like shit.

tl;dr they're both so cheap you may as well get the better option (Remax), but that doesn't discount the Eiaosi as being a good choice too.

Second watch strap arrived. 18mm, fits on a casio f91 (which is 19mm).
I like this more than the nylon one that arrived first- this strap is a soft, squishy, smooth silicone strap.
It's squishy enough so a 20mm one would work on a 19mm watch. Feels pretty good, and the size settings are a little more sane, but if you want it smaller it'd be pretty easy to just make a hole.

We'll see how the silicone fairs over time.
