Lol no. Intel would rather pull stock and toss it straight in the trash and roll out a "new" product line with a "new" chipset than let the consumer save even a penny on their products.

I'm surprised they haven't tried to force proprietary versions of arbitrary standards like power pin connectors, serial interfaces, and memory dimms on their motherboards for extra goy tax. Feels like an untapped market.
