Win fag here.
Recently an acquaintance recommended me Zorin but I don't know anything about it so I've decided to ask the most reliable source of information: 4chan
Has anyone here tried it yet? Do proprietary drivers work with it alright? Like Nvidia or AMD, wacom, canoscan? I've already tried ubuntu and arc quite a while ago and I remember ubuntu used to overheat when ever I've installed any vidya driver, while under windows 7-8 it worked just fine. It was also hard to get photoshop, flash pro, and other Adobe products running on ubuntu. It was a hassle to run windows programmes on it, downloading the correct libs, configuring the compatibility layer... etc, and was very unstable, crashing a lot, couldn't detect my scanner. I wonder if this zorin is any better?

Zorin is linux with different DE.

zorin is *ubuntu gnu/linux* with different DE.

That's it?
Damn what a turn down.
I was expecting something exotic. Well, windows stays I guess.

but it looks good. why you don't want to use ubuntu though, it's the most supported one
> very unstable, crashing a lot, couldn't detect my scanner
zorin is based on ubuntu 16.04 lts, lts is for long term support and they're the most stable ubuntu version, some people use it on servers

sadly, all linux distros are like this, playonlinux is the most easiest method
>playonlinux
Not bad, but not good enough. If Adobe Animate and after effects were supported I'd consider installing it. Thanks anyway.

That actually looks nice.

Mac OS?
I heard Apple was for /g/ays.
I don't think I want to go down that road.

It's based on FreeBSD, so it's basically a Unix fork.
If you want to stick to Windows because macOS is for gays then that's your problem, not mine. I run neither of them.
