so I just bought a couple of these (JBL LSR305) and they didnt come with any cables at all (just the boxes). im dumb when it comes to studio monitors, so i'm wondering what cables i need to get to plug into an outlet and my fiio e10k dac/amp.

It honestly perplexes me why they bother having such fuckhuge cables when the attachment point is normal size. How does anybody fall for this?

They don't come with cables because most studio owners either already have them or can make their own, and there are different termination combinations.
With the Fiio you'll need a TRS splitter that you plug into its line-out, and then get two 1/8" -> 1/4" TRS or 1/8" -> XLR cables to the monitors. It doesn't matter which plug you use monitor-side, but XLR is more sturdy and won't unplug if you're moving them around to find the best sound positioning.

just get cheap copper wires sold by the meter.
