You can define "free RAM" differently.

I did it because I think I got VIRUZ in Windows. I was playing The Witcher 3 and the screen flashed red then my speakers buzzed and my PC shut off.

Then when it rebooted it said it failed to repair itself and I was in despair. Then I rebooted again and nothing was wrong. Did a CPU and GPU stress test at the same time and the PC did not crash! I do not use Cortana and I uninstalled Candy Crush a long time ago. If i had upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I would regret it but I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and it is somewhat of an improvement.

Personally, I don't give a shit about the font or the rendering thereof. I don't really care for the UI either and I have preference for the Aero UI. That being said: I have gotten used to it.

Bash on Windows is in BETA and has to be enabled. It is garbage so far.

I hate Groove Music. I stopped using that a few days after trying it and switched back to VLC.

The notification center is bothersome.

I think Windows 10 is actually less user-friendly because Microsnot has moved everything. Their so-called "All Settings" app is also absurd and not really helpful.

The UI is so shit, and it comes pre installed with fucking spyware. You can't even fully turn it off, the lowest setting you can turn it to is "basic" data collection. I really like it. Having Bash definitely makes it a whole lot more functional. Really wish I could interact with tty devices, though. Once that happens, I may well just ditch Linux entirely.

I actually got i3 to run on a Windows X server using Bash.

ubuntu core, xorg, alsa, network manager and then budgie desktop from the ppa. had to install gnome terminal and nautilus to get it working.

No, disabled that xbox dvr shit way long ago.

I tried lots of stuff to disabling 4 of the cores and that did boost fps, but it's stupid that I have to disable 4 cores to get a performance boost in csgo.

I just leave vsync on now and cap my fps at 144 since my monitor is 144hz. Even then in some maps like inferno it'll drop under 110.

I have Windows 10 on my laptop, 7 on an older desktop. Can I make a copy of the win10 on my laptop and install it on the desktop? or would I need to find a way to update win7

I don't know what aluminium psychic defence tier threats you're guarding against, but I'm not going to start to worry about security until I have something to lose, be it money, IP, or social status.
As it stands I live in the most free country on the continent where the government is top 5 in the world with regards to transparency and respect for privacy rights.
I know the US intelligence industry is spying on everything I say and do online and has access to pretty much every piece of significant digital information associated with me, but they've given no indication that they're going to deliberately pass that info on to anyone who, thinking realistically, will use it to fuck up my life, and they've given no indication that they themselves have issues securing their information.
I could probably quite easily be compromised very thoroughly by a hacker or other such black hat IT actors, but seeing as I have shit credit, $1800 in my bank account, and a stable life in my grandmothers basement, I am reasonably immune from all but the most rudimentary attackers - who I have adequately secured myself against.
