Fullhd 75fps with vsync. Framerate very stable, everything set between very high and ultra. I use same settings on 4790k but with vsync at 85hz.
Just buy a good cooler and clock it over 4ghz. Lower chipset performance lvl as low as you can, then enjoy.

I just ordered a E5472 because of its lower TDP, it's equivalent to the QX9650 but with a higher FSB, higher case temp and lower TDP, also the silica used is high quality stuff which is great.

Motherboard is a P7H55-M LX, I'm trying to convince him to OC it so he'll get more out of it but it's a budget mobo so I don't know if that'll have any effect.

Get a skylake engineering sample, old xeons are shit and you won't find any motherboards for them

Using X5450 in my second PC (which is kinda server right now), replaced shitty E5400 Dual-Core, if you overclock it, it'll be pretty good.
