Since this is "Indian tech support edition" I'm going to ask for some assistance.

I'm trying to move from Transmission to rTorrent. The problem is that rTorrent doesn't seed at all, 0.0 upload speed. I have my ports opened, files have been hashed and are in seeding mode, yet nothing is uploading (but I can download anything just fine).
If I restart the program then all torrents have

"Tracker: [Could not parse bencoded data]"

written next to them. All of those torrents work in Transmission (I loaded them from

~/.config/transmission-daemon/torrents

).
rTorrent isn't in the tracker's unsupported client list (yet Transmission is, ironically), so I really don't know what could be wrong.

What's the best place to get Android applications?

I've been using Mobilism.org. It's actually very good. If you need "mainstream" applications. The top distributors are always safe to use. Only had one issue with Speedtest because AdAway claims its malware or something, but it did that for the legit Play Store version too.

NWCD enforces strict uploading rules which make a greater %age of the uploads qualtiatively better than the competition among PTH/APL to become 'the replacement'.
A good rule for example are folder naming standards, so if the tracker goes down at least people know which releases they have. There are a bunch of bullshit uploads on PTH/APL marked as original releases when they're actually unknown.
Then you also have the shitters who uploaded terrabytes of crap during freeleech and now sit on their huge ass buffer only to spend it on requests instead of snatching single seed FLACs.


I personally still contribute to APL, simply because it's a shitload of effort to cross-seed trackers and I don't have the time for it. Can definitely see people moving to NWCD because they care more for quality than growth.

I hadn't initially considered when you'd lose the buffer, whether it'd be when the request was fulfilled or when you place the request. I also should have focused more on the ratio than the buffer.
It's kind of hard to explain briefly, and it's actually more deep than I realized... Your spending potential is related to the total volume of your UL, relative to the cost of a torrent which is also a volume. Subtracting upload affects not just how much you can download, but also increases the cost of downloading torrents by comparison. Versus adding download, which does affect how much you can download, but does not increase the relative cost of downloading torrents. It may not affect much in the short term among a few people, but in the long term it would reduce the relative cost of downloading torrents for the tracker.
