NDA. generally speaking you don't want people to release info about a product that's not done.

for instance, the CPC leaks had their Ryzen chip at 3.15GHz (IIRC) whereas now the base clock is known to be 3.6GHz. but since the former was ~10% behind i5's and i7's the shills were crying DOA for two fucking weeks. now that gap is probably all gone.

when AMD feels like their product is ready for release we'll see benchmarks.

if you want an i5 or i7 you should probably get one now. if Skylake is cheaper go for it otherwise get a Kaby Lake chip.

if you're considering LGA 2011 chip then definitely wait for Zen. you might literally save a grand.

Remember how it was with the RX480? OEMs got it, everyone was saying it has R9 390X performance but costs $200. The 8GB models ended up costing closer to $300, it performed like an R9 390 at best and nobody bought it. Not even /g/

The only higher core count APUs coming are enterprise and HPC parts. The Chinks are working with AMD to produce a semi-custom HPC oriented APU as well.
