Tails
Parabola GNU/Linux-libre + TOR
I don't even know what Qubes and Whonic are, so that.

Tails static image on a hdd and data kept on a remote server that can be mounted once tails starts.

>Tails static image on a hdd
what? elaborate?
>>58403802
You know how when an OS starts it loads a kernel and an initial ramdisk? Instead of loading up an operating system that changes, on my work laptop I load a read only OS (tails) and just connect to a share on my server where all my data is saved. Once the laptop is shut down, there is no trace of my private work.

go offline. live in the woods, get off the grid.
if you want to stay online, don't use social media which makes you visible and easily accessible.
use Linux and common sense, don't do stupid shit that you are not supposed to. there are 8 billion people, no one gives a fuck about your horse cock porn collection.

>Custom Openvpn
what do you mean custom? you have pay for some vpn service right? what's the custom part?
>>58404130
You realize the more you try to conceal yourself and take extra ordinary measures, the more it makes you look suspicious because they think you have something to hide.
Tails on a 32gb flash in a hdd-less computer/laptop
Convenient for me because i pull hdds from all my scrap PC's anyway, and just use whatever pc is next in line to be trashed
>>58404050
I think we knew what you meant, the question he probably has as do I, is how do you keep a Windows install plus the bootloader to load Tails if you choose to do so.
>>58405400
I actually do this, I use live usb on flash drive to get online, don't keep HD on laptop because don't want to risk losing important things because of "errors/viruses/oh shit what happened" has been way to common in my life. I been using Porteus and LXLE at different times, Porteus is nice because it loads onto RAM, Ubuntu and LXLE are nice because they have most of everything you would want. Parted Magic is a really nice distro because it offers a lot of tools and small foot print plus loads from RAM.
To me the perfect distro would have maybe three browsers, VLC/MPV, IRC client, FTP client, gparted, and loads into RAM. Oh and all the HW works.
I havent dedicated enough time to figure out how to make my own.

>DNSCrypt
For what reason? You're already running openvpn. DNSSEC is necessary, but DNSSEC with DNSCrypt is pain in the ass.
>>58405956
Porteus looks pretty nice i might have to give that a try. Fortunately, i work for a company with 10 small offices and they actually good at keeping up with hardware upgrades.
Havnt tried lxle yet, but that looks like a nice de. Im an xfce fag personally

this is why everyone says they have nothing to hide; they seem to think all this data they give to these nonfree services is somehow unchecked. lmao
protip, no one may care, but those giga supercomputers, hadooping through all your garbage, care and if someone for some reason starts caring, you'd only be one query away.
