Where did IPv5 go wrong?
Somewhere between IPv4 and IPv6

this.
IPv5 was literally a 5bit IP adress system.
which means that you only can have 32 IP adresses world wide. So it was of course scrapped. Even IPv4 with it's 4 294 967 296 possible IP addresses is better than only 32 on a global internet. Even certain LANs have more than 32.
So it was rejected and they went for IPv6 instead

Only got implemented for 18 months between 2003 and 2005 before being decommissioned at the request of Brazil. Brazil could not accept that it was to be assigned a range that contained very superstitious numbers.

like trips and quads?
>>58394785
Yeah, Brazil got the number 13 all for itself.

Numbers do not work like that. Use commas instead of spaces, homeboy.
>>58395008
Spaces are proper
>>58395008
Werks for me.
>>58395008
Spaces are the proper way of doing it, american faggot.

Brazil has a love/hate relationship with 13.
