Whats the best VPN out there, or what one do you use and why?
Im shopping for a new one and am looking for suggestions. Main use is torrenting/streaming and just general peace of mind. I dont need anything extreme that requires you to also wear a tin-foil hat. Free or paid doesnt matter, im willing to pay a fair price for good service.
Im in USA west coast if it matters.
-TIA
I liked airvpn enough to resubscribe, but my torrents only get 2MB/s sometimes, typically about 1
pia cause cheap...
Grabbed a 12 month sub to CyberGhost back when Humble Bundle was selling them for just under $8, it works pretty good for torrents.
Dunno what the actual pricing on it is, but AFAIK it does what I need it to do.

Is a VPN really necessary?
I've only just recently started getting a couple letters from cumcast about my torrenting habits, but even then I'm going to be moved out come Spring and I don't figure they'll do anything anyway. But I'm not sure what of my other activities I'd prefer to have a safeguard for.

>auto kill switch
>no dns leaks
>never got any dmca notices
NordVPN. PrivateInternetAccess is sometimes faster but then again its also US based so you are at risk for any US jurisdictions.
