I think this is market manipulation, but the interesting part is what that says about the credit card companies. When there is a sudden uptick in purchases to a certain vendor it says something about the stock.
Dell stock went up from the insane volume of orders that happened with in a few hours. I mean if you look at some of the threads there are thousands of people, some of which placed like 100 orders.
