So is this not happening?
I need to know because I'm building a pc and I have all the parts but a GPU, if this isn't going to come out soon then I'll just get something else

>releasing products to cannibalize your own currently sold products who aren't surpassed by any competitor for no reason
>not following Intel's lead of releasing the same shit for a decade
kek, it's like you don't even want to make money
Wait for Volta I promise it'll be 3 times faster than Pascal
>>58363818
Ok, then when is that? Im not gonna wait over 2 months for this shit
>>58363860
Soon.
I knew there wasn't gonna be a 1080ti since there's no fury x trying to snatch the throne this time. Keep buying that cucked 1080 nvidiots.

2018

without memeing, does anyone have an honest guess to when the next gpu will come out? nvidia or AMD
>>58364197
>>58363818
Volta is Nvidia though.........
>>58364217
nevermind...
>>58363818
And Volta++ will be 4 times faster than Volta. How about waiting for Volta++ then?
NVIDIA dropped the ball with Pascal it should have had hbm2
Wait until volta

My guess for vega would be sometime between 28th Feb to 31st March.
>>58363659
That's basically what the Titan X Pascal is. If you absolutely need something faster than a 1080, just get that.
>>58364530
Pascal was to improve on Maxwell's SHIT compute performance
>>58364209
Some time between March 31 and how ever long into Q2 they spaghetti up the place.

I seriously doubt it will happen unless AMD releases something that can threaten NVIDIA. Even if we disregard the ridiculously-priced Titan XP, the 1080 is still completely unchallenged and while a Fury X can get close to a 1070 in some cases, the latter still wins on average and is a better choice for other reasons as well (lower power consumption and more VRAM, which can matter if you're playing above 1080p). So NVIDIA has absolutely no reason at all to one-up themselves at this point.

Not really, GDDR5X has been doing fine for Pascal.
