I've been wanting to host my own DNS server locally, both for privacy reasons and to reduce network latency.
I'd rather not set up a recursive caching server if at all possible, but I don't know where to begin mirroring the full opennic DNS and keeping it updated without becoming a tier-2 DNS host.
