So is this what it means to be a totalitarianism?
>UK phone number
You should already know what that's like

use google's senpai (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) or if you are afraid of them tracking you, try any other DNS that searching will pull up
I think all the Aussie ISP's just did a DNS block, or at least Telstra did. Didn't even notice because i was already using a different DNS.

i wasnt even trying to pirate, im looking for a specific public domain book thats impossible to find.
funny how they do such a half assed attempt at blocking it.
can you tell me a bit more about dns?
iiNet doesnt block it for me

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System
has all you need
cbf reading it myself to give you a tldr. I changed my DNS years ago at a LAN party at the behest of one guy.
But yeah, i can understand why they would want to go about blocking torrent sites, but there is content besides pirated files on those sites, like long forgotten free ware that can't be found elsewhere
Also great news for me was when i bought a laptop for casual browsing and holidays, which i didn't change the DNS on, my anime torrent site wasn't even blocked when i checked the day after i heard this happened. they don't give a fuck about Japan copyright holders which is pretty sad

It loads fine and yes try google dns or proxy
>>58353318
No, just a democracy where the majority agree that copyright serves to protect the high quality entertainment they desire.
