Fuck no. If you're looking for that kind of "just werks" then go with KDE Neon. It's made my the KDE company itself, LTS Ubuntu + bleeding edge KDE packages.

KDE Neon or openSUSE. The latter isn't quite as "just werks" out of the box, takes a few more steps to get it usable, but I've found Neon has more issues with my hardware. So it could be easier to use openSUSE depending on what you're working with.
