Have you ever experienced this /g/? I was thinking of upgrading my 3770K to skylake, I was thinking of getting a Noctua DH14 for the new rig. I just checked the Ivy Bridge proc and there was no signs of bending. I'm never considering on buying a water cooling rig after the incident, has this shit been known? Are they offering replacements for this shit? It's like the applel bendgate all over again.

I bought ninja 4 monster cooler and slapped it on i5 6600k for my videogames.
>it came with many screws for various sockets
>skylake screws were there too
>it didnt bend anything
I believe u have to be a bit retarded to use such force to bend anything.
>mwf it is colder than op's mum

Was the cooler facing sideways or upwards with your case? The fact that the PCB of the skylake is thinner doesn't help at all.

How can I tell you?
The cooler is supported via mechanism so unless you use wrong screws, it's main weigth isn't resting on cpu.
If you are this afraid, use stock cooler for shit temperatures. No risk no gain.
