Does buying technology make you happy?
Only if you don't have to save, have plenty of money left after the purchase and don't consider it an investment, so pretty easy with breaking things occasionally
it does make you an object loving machine

Pleasure isn't happiness
It doesn't remove the emptiness within but it momentarily takes your mind off it.
Yeah it doesn't matter if it makes me happy, it makes me distracted and that's good enough

This is why /csg/ is so great. You but tons of random interesting cheap shit every day and it gives you momentary happiness and excitement.

i'm usually happy on my own, so having nice things only makes it better
Not anymore.

no. having the base amount of technology to do the few things i enjoy daily on is nice. what really makes you happy is programming while wearing womens underwear!

I'm more and more convinced as life goes on that happiness is innate. It's something you have, or you don't. Pleasure isn't happiness but at least you can hope to increase the amount of it that you have, if you aren't one of the people that gets to be happy.
