I consider Programming to be writing programs and code, usually compiled.
Then I usually use the word coding in context to scripting and such.

Which really doesn't make sense in retrospect, because you'd imagine writing a script for something would be "programming" it.
But Programming compiled stuff is just scripting for hardware, so I guess it's just a matter of scope.

Programming is a proper subset of coding.
Scripting is a proper subset of programming.

Where applicable, prefer more specific terms.
