>I use Apple products because the integration works so well!
This is how dumb Applefags are.

It does. iMessage or whatever the thing is that connects to your iphone to send text messages works way better than airdriod. Sure airdriod has a bazillion features, but most people don't use most of them. I'd rather airdriod focus on not dropping connections all the time, and maybe clearing the text notifications after I read them.
Good product > assload of features
Native support for cross platform messaging is pretty comfy desu
Kind of been missing it since I bought my 6P last year.

Hangouts is pretty great.

Except nobody uses it.

But the integration works so well, there's nothing on the market that can really compare.

My only apple product is a MBP and would never buy an iphone/watch even at gunpoint, but I must admit that the integration works good. Like notifications mirrored from phone to mac, mac ringing when you get a call, etc.
>>58321198
true, just get the latest iPhone, the latest macbook and you only need 2 (TWO!) adapters to connect them!
IT JUST WERX SO WELL!
SO SIMPLE!

>Having friends
>Spending money on useless interactions
Most of my salary goes into funding my computing hobby and food. being a wage slave does not allow you to have a social life. these apple users are spoiled brats with rich parents.

Being a brainlet, I sucked at maths and science. Could not qualify to enter CS, now I work shitty customer service jobs with a Finance degree.
>>58321582
I don't have a degree. I work customer service in an operational role in a well known company making decent coin.
Maybe if you were a fulltime forex trader I could understand not having time for a social life or friends

The messaging integration is great, same with FaceTime. Lots of other integration as well - Handoff and AirDrop save me lots of annoyance. Having a macOS server for Time Machine backups is great. I use AirPlay all the time for speakers hooked up to an RPi and to Apple TV. List goes on.

This is the problem - and the app is not very good, even on Android.
Additionally, although Hangouts is encrypted, compare this: http://bgr.com/2015/05/12/google-hangouts-encryption-privacy-security/
>On Friday, during a Reddit AMA session with Richard Salgado, Google’s director for law enforcement and information security, and David Lieber, the senior privacy counsel, it became clear that Hangouts doesn’t have end-to-end encryption.
To iMessage: https://www.cnet.com/news/apples-imessage-encryption-trips-up-feds-surveillance/
> Internal document from the Drug Enforcement Administration complains that messages sent with Apple's encrypted chat service are "impossible to intercept," even with a warrant.
The integration and Apple's somewhat recent focus on privacy is what led me to switch a while back. Even things like face detection and automatic photo album creation is done locally on iPhones. Hard drive encryption comes preinstalled with macOS and is enabled by just flipping a switch.
I'd like to hear from some other /g/entoomen, though. It seems like Apple's products would be popular here.

Why? Traders only work a few hours a day, usually very early morning.
>copy/paste between devices
>airdrop any files I want
>photos I take instantly added to my screensaver
>all notes, reminders, calendars, prefs etc. synced across
>can send/receive calls and texts from computer
>phone syncs automatically over wifi while I sleep
>internet tabs synced at all times
>not even mentioning handoff or airplay
And here's the clincher
>all without having to set anything up and without ever working less than perfectly
