Whats the best under $70 budget 1151 motherboard right now for slapping an i7, some DDR4 RAM and my 1080 in?
I assume motherboards don't really matter as long as they have what you need for your hardware?
Is a b150 a good motherboard for this?

K or non K?
>>58320634
Does that matter for the motherboard?

If you have a locked CPU and don't plan to OC, literally anything will do. It's not 2006 anymore, where buying a cheap ass motherboard would fuck your shit up

mATX = MSI Bazooka Plus
ATX = Gigabyte HD3P
Both on B150. It does matter for the motherboard, since you can't do any overclocking on a B150 if your processor is the 6700k. If you have just the 6700 or you don't plan to ever overclock the 6700k then any motherboard will do. I just recommended those because they have the most features.

Looking for a ATX in specific or do you not care about that

Oh no, I don't plan to OC at all.
I'm just weary about buying a cheap mobo but that's all my budget allows at the moment so I'm asking here which cheap mobo would be best. I see so many things in mobo descriptions like ddr ram boost and m.2 and all these things and It's just all confusing so for once I'd rather just be spoonfed on something I don't know much about.

>MSI Bazooka Plus
It's scary how close that CPU is to the PCIE ports. I wonder if I could even fit my 212 Evo in there without it bumping into/touching the GPU.

Nice trips. Get the Gigabyte then. Got the HD3 for myself because the HD3P was out of stock. Only difference between the two are USB 3.1 ports. It has a nice dim orange light as well and it fit my aftermarket cooler with room to spare.

I can't seem to find the bazooka plus, only the regular. Anybody got a link?

Check newegg. I'm positive they have one.
